Backend & Systems Engineer | Blockchain Infrastructure
CTO @ Viridian Advisor
La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Writing code since 2011, professionally since 2016. I've been working in the blockchain scene since 2017.
Backend person at heart - Rust and Go for systems work, Python (Django/Flask) when I want to move fast. Also write smart contracts and build out custody and infrastructure when needed.
Even though I'm not a frontend person, I do build interfaces from time to time. What's the point of a system no-one can interact with?
I sometimes participate in game jams (although anonymously), and tinker with custom hardware (mainly rhythm game controllers) when I get the chance.

Work Experience
CTO - Viridian Advisor (Jan 2026 - Present) [0 mos]
Joined as the first technical hire - now leading all engineering.
Built high-availability Rust backend services for acquiring and servicing financial transparency data of Real World Asset projects within the Sky ecosystem.
Designed and implemented the reference architecture for Sky's Accessibility Rewards program infrastructure - on-chain data acquisition via Helios light clients, storage, derivative data calculation, and results caching.
Currently working on backend services for on-chain data collection (through Dune Analytics) presented in human-readable formats, plus AI-enabled tooling like MCP servers for responsive financial reporting.
Technical Lead - Sky (fka MakerDAO) (Nov 2021 - Jan 2026) [4yr, 2 mos]
Sky is one of the leading decentralised stablecoin issuers (formerly MakerDAO).
Led the design and delivery of payments infrastructure for the Accessibility Rewards program and Integrator Boost - both event-driven systems handling real financial flows at protocol scale, running across Ethereum and Solana.
Managed a team of three full-time engineers, producing actionable analytics and keeping the program running smoothly.
Also produced technical documentation for BDs and external integrators, which meant clean API abstractions and close attention to security boundaries.
Blockchain Engineer - Num Finance (Mar 2023 - Nov 2024) [1yr, 8 mos]
Num Finance was a local stablecoin provider in Buenos Aires - captured ~$5M TVL in its first month.
Built the full smart contract suite for the stablecoin and its supporting TypeScript backend infrastructure.
Set up the asset custody pipeline end-to-end using Fireblocks and in-house development, tailored to fit the finance team's existing workflows.
Led on-chain deposit notifications and pipeline runs through Amazon SQS (later migrated to Apache Kafka).
Implemented custody-side integrations with Morpho and Uniswap via backoffice-triggered AWS KMS-signed transactions on Fireblocks, with controls for peg support, liquidity availability, and yield payments to depositors.
Blockchain Engineer - ProtoFire (Apr 2020 - Nov 2021) [1yr, 7 mos]
ProtoFire delivers robust backend solutions for blockchain projects.
Led the integration of Chainlink Data Feeds across major L2 networks, including Optimism and Arbitrum. This meant deep-dives into Chainlink's Go source code, RPC infrastructure, and oracle reliability.
Also worked on an on-chain encyclopedia using Aragon and Band Protocol, and experimented with the UMA codebase.
Shipped oracle integrations across xDai, Avalanche, Celo, and other chains, plus Aave AMM market adapters and a Balancer LP collateral integration.
Blockchain and Backend Developer - DTecDeal (Oct 2019 - Apr 2020) [6 mos]
DTecDeal brought real-world trade contracts to the blockchain.
Contributed to their Python/Django backend (harnessing RabbitMQ for smart contract state change handling) while developing their Solidity-based smart contracts.
Blockchain and Backend Developer - Maecenas Fine Art Ltd. (Jan 2018 - Oct 2019) [1yr, 9 mos]
Maecenas tokenized fine art assets on Ethereum.
Developed and maintained smart contracts alongside Python backend services, working with a multidisciplinary team with a strong focus on security and correctness.
Full Stack Web Developer - Devsar S.A. (Jan 2017 - Jan 2018) [1yr]
Devsar is a local software development house delivering solutions to global clients.
Contributed to Django applications, web service and infrastructure design, front-end integrations, and integrations with a major local fintech firm's web services.
